Current Situation
Currently I work as a Systems Developer for 3aIT (I left cmed at th beginning of August 2005 on good terms), writing web-based systems and indeed websites. Naturally this has increased my knowledge of LAMP/LAPP as well as XHTML and CSS.
A Brief History
I'll try to write this hopefully little section without mirroring too much of my CV,
but I guess I can't promise this as there is obviously some overlap.
I was born in Crawley hospital on the 14th December 1982 (and what a grand day it was),
I think I weighed in at around 6.5lbs. I did all the usual things: ate, slept, breathed - oh,
and I was yellow for a bit cause that's always fun and I guess even then I couldn't stand
conforming to normality, whatever that is.
So a shortwhile later (or as it seems now) after playgroup and the likes I started school at
Robert May First School where they attempted (successfully) to educate me in preparation for
my middle school: Bishop Bell Middle School (which has since joined with Robert May to form
The Oaks First and Middle School).
Having completed these pre-requisties to my education I bravely moved on into my secondary school
Hazelwick School where I passed all my GCSEs
(which always helps these days), I decided to stay on here to do my A-Levels (I didn't fair too badly
here either).
You'd think that'd be it, with all those years of education, but no! I then went onwards to the
University of Kent to study for a BSc in Computer Science, this
would occupy the next 3 years of my life. Now there's alot I can say for university and if you're going,
you are strongly advised to stay in halls for your first year. Seriously - it's one of the best years of
your life and you'd be mad to miss it. Anyways, I did pass my degree with honours which was conferred
at a quite spectacular graduation ceremony in Canterbury Cathedral.
After all this education, I decided (another) break was in order, so I floated about existing for a few
months doing not much really. Until...it happened...I got a job! This job is with
cmed doing Software Testing, more precisely,
integration testing.
